Foreclosures and Flat Tires

Work has once again thrown off my timetable. After doubles at work and a nap that slipped into a full 8 hours sleep I missed out on being awake during the day to deliver my classified ad.

This morning after working all night I had a list of 3 forclosures in Pawtucket to attend. The first of which was at 9am and wasn't to far away. It was a 2 family home built in 1900. I couldn't find any sales data on it so I wondered if it was just held in someones family for generations. The assesment had its value at $274,500.

As I scouted the neighborhood I thought of the stabbings at the nearby basketball court and the litter in the streets. As if to accent that last thought my bike picked up some glass and within minutes my rear tire was flat.

I waited but only one other investor had shown up. He never got out of his car so I didn't get to ask him any questions. Would have been good to call ahead and make sure the auction was still on but I had just learned about this one hours before.

After a long walk back to my trailer I decided to try and get some stuff done on the computer. Only the laptop had other ideas. Lately the mouse refuses to be pulled out of the corner of the screen for 15-20 minutes at a time. Frustrating but not as enraging as trying to focus on doing something online while being eaten by mosquitos. The wi-fi signal I do get can't be used from inside the trailer.

The one good thing that happened was a mobile home that I came across that was priced far below market value. A quick read of the ad got me excited while working. Later upon closer examination is was for a Mobil Home in a 55+ trailer park. So I passed the information onto my mom while wondering if it would be possible for me to buy a home there if I wasn't planning on living there, maybe under a company name or something?

As of right now I am an hour and a half away from the next forclosure auction and I am dead tired. I've been going since this time yesterday.

So things like checking my mail or going to a foreclosure auction are going to be temporarily put on the back burner.

Besides which I can't figure out how to add pictures to my blog and I'm frustrated.
